Trials are important not only for you as the bride, but for me as well. During this appointment I will style your hair by working with the pictures and information you have given me, we can try many different styles and you wont be leaving until you're fully satisfied!! ;)
The time will give me the opportunity to gain knowledge of your hair texture and pliability and will help me learn what products will work best with your hair to help produce your desired look and ensure the style will last for your special day. I will do my very best to achieve your desired look.
If youve seen a certain hairstyle you love, but think your hair will be too short or fine- do bring it, i have many methods and techniques to gain a volumizing style!
I will be taking pictures of your trial to look back on and gain ideas to improve the style even better!

A Trial and the Wedding day Hair - This is a Good example of why a Trial is needed
There is so much inspiration online for your bridal beauty look and Pinterest is the holy grail for assisting in wedding planning in general.
Send me a link to your Pinterest board, so that I can get a feel for the whole day, from the venue to your dress, and discover any celeb hair and beauty crushes.
Even if you can’t find the exact style you are envisioning, a collection of images will give me a ‘feel’ of the look you’re going for. Including your dress
what’s your dress style? Is it young, fresh and romantic or glam and structured? Is the detail around the neckline? You might want to show that off.
* REMEMBER - ALL THIS WILL BE CONFIDENTIAL *
I do prefer when my brides sends pictures before the trial so i can work out how to achieve that style and gain ideas in my head-
i also have a mannequin doll to practice on - yes im very committed!!!
Dont have a pinterest? Send pictures to my Facebook messenger or email
KNOW WHAT YOU WANT AND WHAT YOU DONT WANT
It can be even more helpful to tell me what you don't like — especially if you're going in without a clear vision of your dream wedding-day hairstyle. Do you prefer loose waves or tight curls or even crumped waves? Sleek or textured updos? Volume or no Volume? These cues will help me find the perfect fit
Ive worked with so many different brides with so many different styles so its important that you tell me exactly what you dont want.
Believe it or not - I LOVE A BOSSY BRIDE!!! SPEAK UP!!
WHAT TO BRING TO YOUR TRIAL AND WHEN TO SCHEDULE IT
Scheduling the trial after you’ve bought ‘the’ dress is pretty helpful as it guides the whole look and focuses the mind as to how you’d like your hair and makeup however you don’t need to bring it with you and a picture will suffice. I normally suggest planning the trial 1-3 months before the wedding date but as im getting busier i usually send a reminder message and certain dates.
If you have any hair accessories or a veil already purchased then these are helpful to bring but i am used to working without them so don’t worry if you haven’t decided on them yet. If you need help with choosing the accessory id be happy to guide you!
It’s good to wear your hair and makeup ‘look’ for an hour or so and take a look at it in different mirrors in your home to get used to it.
BE OPEN TO CHANGING YOUR HAIR
If you're in love with a particular style, ask me if i'd recommend changing anything about your current cut and color to make it look its best. I may find that your style would look better with side-swept bangs or that you should cut layers into your long locks to add dimension. Or, I may suggest something subtle, like parting your hair on the opposite side or overextending the part. And if you highlight your hair, I recommend getting a touchup two weeks before the big day; that'll give it time to tone down, but you won't have roots showing yet. I do recommend coming for a trial with the same coloured hair as it will be on your wedding day as this will change the whole style.
HOW TO ARRIVE AT THE TRIAL
Wash and blow-dry your hair the same as you will the night before your wedding, decide if you will be washing it the night before or the morning of you wedding, I recommend applying a bit of volume mousse after washing your hair and blow-dry it upside down!
I've had a couple of people coming here with unwashed greasy hair thinking that how id want it as it grips better - NO!!! I do not agree with this - i have many products to ensure your hair will grip and who wants greasy hair on they're wedding day?
It is really helpful if the bride turns up with her regular makeup on so I can get an idea of how she looks every day and what kind of makeup she feels comfortable with.
Once you get into Abercegir, go down the hill pass the telephone box, once you get to the bottom of the hill you will see my house on the left with black and white fence, and my car outside white Citroën DS3, park wherever you can see space, by the church before the house if possible.
